Candidates should have secured a minimum 75% marks (65% for SC/ST category candidates) or should fall under the top 20 percentile of their respective boards. Age Criteria
- The candidates who are born on or after October 1, 1998, will be eligible for JEE Main 2023.
- SC/ST and PWD candidates are eligible for age relaxation of 5 years but they must be born on or after October 1st, 1993.
- The 10th certificate’s date of birth will be considered.
JEE Main 2023 Academic Qualification
- The candidates must have cleared 10+2 or the equivalent exam from a very recognized board.
- Those who appeared in the 12th exam in 2020 but did not clear it, are not eligible for the exam again, even if they clear it later.
- PCM must be required subjects in the qualifying exam.
- Those who will appear in the qualifying exam will also get considered.
JEE Main 2023 Attempts
- The no of attempts for JEE exam is limited. If someone fails in the 1st attempt, they can take the next 2 exams.
- The candidates who are appearing for both of the session in the same academic year is taken at 1 attempt and the best of the 2 scores is used for ranking the students.
JEE Main 2023 Exam Pattern
