2024 NEET Exam New Guidelines & Instructions For Medical Aspirants 

Every year NEET exam is conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) and this year also NTA will conduct the exam. The exam is scheduled to be held on 5th May this year which is very close now, so medical aspirants should pay more attention to the exam. However, students should be aware of the new guidelines for the NEET 2024 exam as it includes dress code, exam instructions and things to be carried in the exam hall. The date of appearing in the examination is decided by NTA. NEET 2024 Important Dates ( NEET Guidelines 2024) 

Application Dates:  The application window for NEET 2024 was open from February 9, 2024, to March 9, 2024 (with an extension to March 16th).  

Exam Date: The NEET 2024 exam was held on Sunday, May 5, 2024

Result Declaration:  The results of NEET 2024 are expected to be declared on June 14, 2024

NEET Exam Centres: 554 cities inside India and 14 cities outside India

NEET 2024 Application Form Correction Last Date: Correction may occur from 18th to 20th March

Last date for application fee payment: Last date of payment is 16th March 2024

NEET Exam Timing 2024

Exam Timing: The exam was held from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM IST (India Standard Time)

 Duration of NEET 2024 Exam: To fill out the sheet, you have three hours and twenty minutes.

Last entry in the examination hall as per the NEET timing: Make sure to enter by 1:30 PM

Sitting in the examination room: 1: 15 PM

Starting time of NEET examination: The exam will start by 2:00 PM

Prohibited Items

Avoid carrying any item to the exam hall that violates the guidelines and under the new guidelines for the 2024 NEET exam, you can carry with you items like electronic devices (mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators), study materials, bags, purses, etc. Can’t even take it. If you break any of the guidelines then your paper may also get canceled due to this, hence you should follow the NEET PG 2024 guidelines only.

COVID-19 Safety Guideline

Since Covid 19 has become common, rules to avoid it have been added in the new guidelines for NEET exam 2024. Wear a face mask at all times, maintain physical distance and do not forget to follow hygiene practices like frequent hand washing or sanitizing.

Exam Room Manners

When you come inside the examination hall, you will also have to follow the rules given by the invigilators under the 2024 NEET Exam New Guidelines. Find your seat that has been assigned to you and remain completely silent during the exam. Listen carefully to all the announcements made and also follow the exam schedule for each section.
