NEET Exam Pattern 2024

National Medical Commission (NMC) has prescribed NEET-UG syllabus 2024. This course outline will serve as the basis for NEET 2024 question paper. Each section/subject in NEET 2024 will have one option in Section “B” as decided by NEET (NTA). As a result, NEET 2024 exam has been divided as follows.

35 questions in section A

15 questions in section B

Students get a total of 15 questions in B section. Students should attempt 10 questions out of 15 questions.

This time, students have been given 20 more minutes for the NEET exam. Now students can continue their process of solving their question paper for 200 minutes. If a student attempts more than 10 questions in B section only 10 questions will be counted.

NEET 2024 Exam Pattern: Marking scheme for neet

The question paper of NEET exam consists of only 200 questions, out of which students have to answer only 180 questions. The number of full marks given to students in this examination is 720. Each topic is discussed in two parts. Section A and Section B

There will be 35 questions in Section A and along with this there will be a total of 15 questions in Section B. However, in Section B, some relaxation is given to the student in that he/she will answer only 10 questions in this section. The question paper of NEET Class 11 and Class 12 will be based on Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

In the marking scheme of NEET, candidates will be given 4 marks for each correct answer to their question, and in NEET marking system, 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. NEET Total Marks And Pass Mark

The total score of NEET exam for NEET exam 2024 is 720 marks. Students will have to solve 180 questions. Each question gets 4 marks. Every student needs to score between 720 and 137 marks if he wants to pass the exam, whereas for SC/ST/OBC neet exam total score is between 136 to 107.
