JEE Main and JEE Advanced are one of the most competitive exams in India and scoring good marks in both these exams requires a lot of hard work.

Because these exams help you get admission in various engineering institutes in prestigious institutes like Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and national institutes, these exams become the only way to get admission in these institutes and complete your engineering.

While both the exams assess the student’s knowledge of science and mathematics, there may be a slight difference in the level of difficulty.

Difficulty Level: In terms of difficulty level, JEE Main is less complex than JEE Main or JEE Advanced. The questions are designed keeping in mind the fundamental concepts and problem-solving skills of the students.

Syllabus: JEE Main syllabus is based on NCERT which focuses on the basic concepts of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for students studying in class 10th and 12th.

Pattern: JEE Main All questions asked are multiple choice (MCQ) and numerical value based. Emphasis is placed on conceptual clarity and testing of application rather than complex problem-solving.

Number of Attempts: JEE Main students get multiple opportunities so if you have not been able to qualify your exam this year, next year you will be eligible to appear for this exam, this gives you a chance to improve your exam score. Can do.

Scope of Admission: JEE Main score is used for admission into various institutes which include NITs, IIITs, CFTIs apart from IITs.

JEE Advanced Difficulty

Syllabus: To complete the syllabus of IIT JEE Advanced, you have to study the JEE Main syllabus in depth. All the questions in this are beyond the NCERT syllabus, this exam will be no less than a challenge for talented students.

Pattern: JEE Advanced exam consists of multiple-choice questions, numerical value-based questions and questions with single-digit integer answers. You can find many steps in a problem within which you will find many concepts.

Number of Attempts: Talking about attempts, students are allowed only two attempts in consecutive years to clear the JEE Advanced exam, which is very different from JEE Main.

Scope of Admission: Your good marks in JEE Advanced exam are clearly used to get admission into IITs, one of the prestigious engineering institutes of India.

What Is The Gap Between JEE Mains And JEE Advanced

Since the difference between these two exams is 1 to 1.5, you will get time to prepare for your JEE Advanced in the gap between these two, which you can take full advantage of.  After clearing JEE Main, you have time to prepare for the even bigger challenge of JEE Advanced.
